The marketing industry suffered a grievous loss with the untimely demise of Sakshi Jain, AVP for Revenue at Channel Factory. Jain had an illustrious career in media and advertising, spanning 25 years, which saw her juggle a variety of roles and responsibilities.

While Channel Factory was her most recent employer, Jain had previously worked at Y&A Transformation as Business Head and had previous stints as a Business Consultant at Seeders Media, and had served as GM and National Sales Head at TV Today and AVP at TV 18 Broadcast.

A DU alumnus in B Com Honours, Jain had successfully navigated a career from print journalism to advertising agency to multiple roles in broadcast media.

Yesudas S Pillai, co-founder of Y&A Transformation, Snippet Digital, and triggerbridge, told e4m that the sad news was extremely unexpected. He also wrote in a moving post on LinkedIn, which in part stated, “I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the untimely death of Sakshi, a former colleague who left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with.  I had the privilege of hiring her for Channel Factory, under my company Y&A Transformation I did that without any prior reference checks or previous work experience, trusting instead in an intuitive sense of her potential. And she quickly proved that this was the right decision.  She was subsequently moved to the principal organization; a company I continue to consult for....

She had a unique ability to connect with others, always maintaining harmony and never engaging in conflict. Her positive attitude and kindness made her a joy to work with and a valued member of the team. Though our paths have since diverged, the impact Sakshi had on both organizations and those who worked with her remains. Her legacy is one of positivity, warmth, and the great human being she was.”

Prashant Ray, Director of Marketing, India and South East Asia, told e4m “She was a great and a fighter soul! It’s unfortunate to know what happened and almost impossible to digest the fact that she is no more! We all are still processing this news.”
