Global healthcare company Novartis has appointed Starcom and Epsilon, Publicis Groupe companies, for global media duties, according to media reports. Starcom is the incumbent agency, holding the account since 2010. Epsilon, a technology and platforms company, was recently acquired by Publicis Groupe.

The appointment will be effective from January 1, 2020.

The two agencies will reportedly work together on media planning, buying, data and analytics in 60 markets across the globe.

Media reports quoted John Sheehy, Global Brand President of Starcom Worldwide, as saying that similar to Novartis’ aim to reimagine medicine, the media agency too looks to reimagine and transform how data-driven marketing strategies are delivered for its clients.
