Uber appoints Pavan Vaish as Head of Central Operations
Vaish was the Co-founder and CEO of Daksh e-services
Uber has appointed Pavan Vaish as the new Head of Central Operations, according to media reports.
Vaish was the co-founder and CEO of Daksh e-services. Daksh is widely recognized as one of the most successful services acquisition in IBM’s history and Pavan spearheaded its integration with IBM.
Commenting on the appointment, media reports quoted Pradeep Parameswaran, President, Uber India & South Asia, saying that Vaish “will play a pivotal role in writing the next chapter in the company's growth journey.”
Vaish was quoted as saying that he “looks forward to drive the next phase of its growth through operational excellence and strategic innovation.”
Vaish is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
