It is learnt that real estate developer DLF Ltd and Larsen & Tourbro (L&T) are locked in a legal tussle over the use of the word ‘Building India’. DLF has been using the tagline ‘Building India’ for almost five years now. Now, the real estate major has sent a legal notice to L&T on the latter’s misuse of these words.

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd (DCBL) has appointed Aegis Media Group’s Vizeum as its media agency on record. BK Singh, Executive Director - Sales & Marketing, DCBL has confirmed the development. S Yesudas, MD - Indian Sub-continent, Vizeum, said, “This business will be handled out of Vizeum Chennai under the leadership of EM Sreeneelakandhan, GM.”
Evarist Rego quits IBD India as COO
Evarist Rego has put in his papers as COO at IBD India, part of Percept-Hakuhodo. Rego was earlier COO, Perspectrum Consultancy, Percept’s integrated marketing communication firm. He has been with the Percept Group for five years. Senior sources close to the development have confirmed the news. Rego’s next destination is not known.

Fox International Channels has launched seven new channels in India – FX, NGC HD, NG Wild, Fox Crime, NG Adventure, NG Music and Baby TV. The channels will be available across the country on multiple platforms like DTH, Digital and Analog Cable. Taproot is the creative agency, while GroupM is the media agency for all the seven channels.

Mint, the business daily from the HT Media stable, has launched a new booklet, ‘Mint Money’ on June 30, 2010. The booklet deals with personal finance and will cover one topic of interest each time it is published. However, the frequency is not decided as yet. The topic for the first issue was Mutual Funds.
