Print advertising of the shampoos/ conditioners category grew by a whopping 121 per cent during January-October 2010, as compared to the same period in 2009. Torque Pharmaceuticals advertised the maximum for shampoo/ conditioner brands in print, while Pantene Pro V Nourished Shine gathered the maximum share of all new shampoo/ conditioner brands advertised in print during this period.

Built around a variety of apps by various service providers, the company hopes the device will encourage adoption of PCs and increase the number of users actively on the Internet. Well known journalist and Editor (Languages) at the India Today Group, Prabhu Chawla, is set to move out of the group. Industry sources have confirmed that Chawla is joining The New Indian Express newspaper. While it is not known what would be Chawla’s designation, he will be replacing Aditya Sinha, who is joining DNA as Editor-in-Chief from January 17, 2011.
