Cannes Lions Day 1: India bags 43 shortlists in 13 categories

Leo Burnett, Talented, FCB Group India, Dentsu Creative, DDB Mudra, BBDO, Wondrlab Mumbai, Ogilvy India and Mindshare India are amongst the ones shortlisted

The festival celebrating the creative art of commercial advertising around the world - Cannes Lions 2023, is all set to start tomorrow June 19, 2023. The Indian advertising industry has put its best foot forward with the mind-boggling creative work done throughout the year. Earlier today, the festival announced shortlists for 17 categories and India got 43 shortlists in 13 categories.
Here are the shortlisted -

Last week, the festival announced shortlists for Titanium and Innovation Lions and Glass: The Lion for Change. Leo Burnett got shortlisted in the Innovation category with their work Lays Smart Farm under "Scalable Innovation" while Ogilvy Mumbai got shortlisted for the Glass Lions category with its campaign for Dove, The Beauty Report Card.

No Indian agencies were shortlisted for the category of - Health and wellness, Entertainment Lions for Music, Digital craft and Pharma.
