Five more campaigns from India have been shortlisted in the ongoing Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2024.
The campaigns have been shortlisted in the sustainable development goals category. While 3 of these campaigns are from the Leo Burnett stable, two are from McCann Worldgroup.
The campaign that has brought India its only gold this year - McCann Worldgroups’s Fit My Feet for Buckaroo Footwear - has been shortlisted for the good health and wellness subcategory alongside Leo Burnett’s Period Science for Moms campaign for P&G Whisper. The latter was also shortlisted in the quality education subcategory.
Leo Burnett is also in the reckoning in the responsible consumption and production subcategory for its work for Lays titled Drops of Joy. McCann Worldlgroup’s other shortlist was in the gender equality subcategory for ESAF Small Savings Bank’s Dabba Savings account.
A total of 826 campaigns from India are competing for the Cannes Lions this year.
The current metal tally of Indian agencies is 9, including one gold, two silvers and six bronzes.
