Of the four Indian entries that were competing in the Radio Lions, only one has managed to win a Lion. Rediffusion Y&R has been awarded a Bronze Lion for the entry ‘Vandana’ done for the American India Foundation.

Indian jury member Ashish Khazanchi, NCD, Publicis Ambience, informed that DDB Mudra’s Bush fell marginally short to make it through the winning list.

Speaking on the Indian work in all, Khazanchi said, “This was not a great year for radio in India in any case. We saw that at the Abby awards as well. We did not see anything earth-shattering coming across, and that is what has reflected in the India wins here.”
