Arc Worldwide appointed digital agency for TaxSpanner

Online tax filing company TaxSpanner has awarded its digital creative mandate to Arc Worldwide, Mumbai. This decision was made after a multi-agency pitch that included Webchutney, Digiqom, Pepper Square and Arc Worldwide.

On awarding the business to Arc Worldwide, Ankur Sharma, CEO and Co-Founder, TaxSpanner, said, “Arc’s integrated approach with digital and social media as drivers found resonance with our own thinking. The understanding of the medium and passion that Arc brought to the table helped us choose Arc as our digital partner.”

Arc will be developing the communication strategy for TaxSpanner, user interface assessment and a digital plan with focus on social media. Commenting on the win, CVS Sharma (Venke), Head of Arc Worldwide, India, said, “The critical challenge is to achieve a paradigm shift in consumer behaviour, who otherwise choose the easy way of finding an agent or CA to file their tax returns. So, we have to help consumers find the benefits of filing returns easily online with TaxSpanner.”

Established in 2007, TaxSpanner offers online preparation and filing of individual Income Tax Returns (ITR).
