By 2030, nearly half of FB’s staff is likely to be working from home: Mark Zuckerberg
During a live streaming, the Facebook CEO said remote working is soon going to be a growing trend
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said by 2030 nearly half of the company’s employees will be working remotely.
The social media giant has even said that it will allow many employees to work from home permanently. Zuckerberg said this as part of a live streaming on the FB page.
New technology has been helping us stay connected and productive, FB has said in a blog post.
“At Facebook we’re shifting to remote work ourselves – many people can now choose where they do their best work – while we continue to lay the technical foundation for a more flexible, and fair, future of work for all.”
"Coming out of this period, I expect that remote working is going to be a growing trend as well," Zuckerberg said during the live streaming.
While Google is allowing employees to work from home throughout 2020, Amazon and Microsoft will continue to do so at least till October.
