The Union Cabinet has announced the approval of 26 per cent Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in digital media, subject to government approval.
At a meeting held on Wednesday, August 28th, the Union Cabinet announced major reforms, including the incorporation of e-commerce in India and easing local sourcing norms for FDI in single-brand retailing, among others.
