The statement had appeared in an exchange4media report on July 28, headlined ‘Mensxpert.com in investment talks with Firefly eVentures; bets heavily on e-commerce integration’, wherein Bhatia, CTO & Co-Founder, Mensxpert.com, had told exchange4media, “We are currently looking for our first round of investment and are actively seeking to tie up with major media led web initiatives. We are in advanced talks with HT Media Ltd’s Firefly eVentures, and also in touch with Web18 and the Times Group.”
“Yes, there have been some preliminary communication and exchange of mails between operating level people after we received a proposal from their (Mensxpert.com) end, but it never progressed to any advanced stage. In fact, the senior leadership, including me or my CFO, has not even met him (Bhatia),” Garg emphatically stated.
