The shocking resignation of Arnab Goswami from his position as President-News & Editor-in-Chief, Times Now and ET Now, has sent shockwaves throughout the country with people taking to social platforms to express their disbelief, question the decision or even to just have some fun.

By late night on Tuesday, hashtags like #arnabresigns and #arnabgoswami were already trending worldwide with some asking for a minute of noise, others raising questions about how Times Now would do, now that the face of the channel and its star attraction is no longer associated with it, while still others suggesting that a career in the army or as a SC judge beckons.
