It's a matter of 2 mins of fame, 2 mins of shame: Deepak Chaurasia on Bigg Boss OTT stint
While in the Bigg Boss house, Chaurasia plans to leverage his communication skills to maintain transparency with the audience
Deepak Chaurasia, with a career spanning 31 years, has stepped into the Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 house. Chaurasia is now embracing a new role as a contestant in the popular reality show. In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, Chaurasia shared his thoughts on navigating this uncharted territory while maintaining his professional integrity and reputation.
Chaurasia acknowledged the stark contrast between his usual role as a journalist and his new position as a reality show contestant. "This is Bigg Boss OTT. It is a matter of two minutes of fame, two minutes of shame, and so on," he remarked. Highlighting the need for caution, he emphasized the importance of being mindful of his actions to uphold the respect and admiration he has earned in journalism. "I will have to make sure that I don’t fall to the lowest lows as seen in the show, because of the respect and adulation I have owing to my profession," Chaurasia explained.
Entering a show known for its controversies, Chaurasia admitted his concerns about potential risks to his image. "This is a huge scare. The show is known for its many controversies, and my career has had its share of controversies as well," he said. Despite the drastic shift from covering significant world events to navigating interpersonal conflicts within the Bigg Boss house, Chaurasia sees this as a challenge to step out of his comfort zone. "I will make sure to make it worthwhile," he added confidently.
Chaurasia plans to leverage his communication skills to maintain transparency with the audience. "Whatever I will do in the house – I will show it, I will explain it, I will tell it," he stated. He aims to provide clear explanations for his actions, particularly in conflict situations, to ensure viewers understand his reasoning and logic. "I will try to be completely transparent," he affirmed, expressing his commitment to honesty and clarity throughout his journey on the show.
