Jio Cinema has dropped two teasers on social media hinting that the platform is planning to launch an ad-free subscription plan. The announcement is set to be made on April 25.
Bollywood celebrities have also been seen promoting the same on their social media accounts.
The teasers emphasize that Jio Cinema subscribers will no longer have to endure a “barrage of ads” on the platform. It encourages users to switch to the ad-free plan, which will be available starting April 25.
Currently, Jio Cinema offers a Rs 999 annual plan (Jio Cinema Premium), which includes access to Hollywood content and the provision to watch on up to four devices simultaneously.
