There’s dozens of social networks in the world today. They’re doing different things, and have different reach. Some of the networks might not even look like a social network if you’re just thinking about Facebook, but that’s exactly what Wikipedia is too, when you think about it.

NewsGator is a social computing network, which integrates social sharing of presentations, and powers social RSS readers, for PC and iOS platforms, which is heavily used by the US government and military forces. The company focuses on Web 2.0 solutions for enterprises using collaborative technologies like blogs, RSS, social bookmarking, social networking and wikis.
