There are dozens of social networks in the world today. They’re doing different things, and have different reach. Some of the networks might not even look like a social network if you’re just thinking about Facebook, but that’s exactly what Wikipedia is too, when you think about it.
Continuing with the series titled ‘Know Your Network’, exchange4media seeks to present the known and not so known social networks from around the world.
Pageflakes is similar to iGoogle or My Yahoo!, an ajax based landing page, which you can customise to display feeds, news and other updates as per your needs. The “flakes” could include Twitter feeds, Flickr photos, or updates from social networking sites, and user created modules.
