SmugMug is an online photo sharing service, like Flickr and Picasa. Unlike these two free services though, SmugMug is a paid service, which is aimed primarily at photographers who can use the network to sell their work. Professional accounts have the ability to add custom watermarks to their photos and add additional forms of image protection. They can also sell prints and digital downloads of their photos through the SmugMug interface with their own custom pricing. The company keeps 15 per cent of the revenue. All users can upload unlimited numbers of photos, and there is integration with services like Picasa.
