MakeMyTrip President and Ibibo Group founder Ashish Kashyap resigns
His resignation will come into effect from September 30, 2017
Ibibo group CEO and co-founder Ashish Kashyap has resigned from his position as President of MakeMyTrip. The resignation comes just a few months after the completion of the MakeMyTrip-Ibibo merger deal.
In a filing submitted with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the NASDAQ-listed company said Kashyap’s resignation had been accepted, and will come into effect from September 30. It is also said Kashyap, as part of an agreement signed with, both, MakeMyTrip and Ibibo Group, had agreed to a non-compete and non-solicitation obligations ending on September 30, 2019.
Kashyap’s successor at MakeMyTrip is still to be announced.
