In April, Musk's microblogging platform X said it had to restrain certain posts from India at the behest of the Election Commission. These posts comprised political content from officials, political parties and candidates.
Musk stated he disagreed with the orders of the Election Commission on the grounds of "freedom of speech".
Narendra Modi is all set to be sworn in as the Prime Minister for the third term on Sunday. His cabinet of ministers is likely to be announced later today.
