Nitin Bawankule takes over Punitha Arumugam’s role for interim period

Google has made a couple of management shuffling in its India and APAC operations. Nitin Bawankule will be taking over Punitha Arumugam responsibilities on a temporary basis. Arumugam, who was the Director for agency business left the company earlier this month. She had been overseeing advertiser relations of Google since March 2012.
Bawankule is currently the Director of e-commerce and online classifieds. A Google spokesperson confirmed the news and said the appointment is an interim one and will be in addition to Bawankule’s existing role within the company.
