Kashmir has cost India so much - suffering in the state, terror all over, lakhs of crores in extra defense budget, soldiers losing their lives. Meanwhile, hundreds of fancy conferences pretending to solve the issue. Time it all stops. #OneCountryOneSystem #Article370

It has finally happened. Article 370 removed. Can’t believe my ears! 72 years after independence, the government of India is truly acting with an independent will to take these bold steps for a united and brighter future of the nation.

Truth is this. The entire “ conventional “ approach on Kashmir hasn’t gotten us anywhere. With the mandate @narendramodi has in this parliament, expect him to break many more status quo’s all around. #MissionKashmir first , what’s next? Wait and watch

So, now ,J & K Chief Minister will have same powers as Delhi CM ( ie not very much )Interesting reasoning given in note ‘ keeping in view prevailing internal security situation fuelled by cross border terrorism in existing state, a separate union territory of J&K being created’

Modi government has now forced "integration" of Kashmir with India, through diktat & show of force. Hope BJP government can now deliver development, jobs, industry and welfare to Kashmiris as well as to the rest of India and not let the region slide into another Palestine

The @AmitShah move to scrap #Article370 #Article35A completes Syama Prasad Mukherjee call: "Ek Desk mein do vidhan, do Pradhan, do nishan nahin ho sakte". But to be legally valid it needs the consent of Jammu and Kashmir. Sooner or later state will have a new government. Then?
