With 290 participants, Bangalore IT.Com opens on Nov 1
With over 290 companies participating and delegates from 15 foreign countries, the seventh edition of Bangalore IT.COM is expected to be the largest ever. Sprawled over 32,000 sq meters, the event will throw up a wide spectrum of latest in Information, communications and media technology through 10 pavilions.
Asia’s one of the largest ICMT event, Bangalore IT.COM 2004, will be inaugurated by Dharam Singh, Chief Minister of Karnataka on November 1at the Bangalore Palace Grounds, informed an official release.
With over 290 companies participating and delegates from 15 foreign countries, the seventh edition of Bangalore IT.COM is expected to be the largest ever. Sprawled over 32,000 sq meters, the event will throw up a wide spectrum of latest in Information, communications and media technology through 10 pavilions. Three of the focus pavilions this year include a first-ever dedicated pavilion for Animation and Games sector, a pavilion each on digital lifestyle and spectrum and a BPO and career mart.
The five-day event will also have six conferences bringing together the best of minds to deliberate upon current themes, analyse issues and meet potential business partners. At BangaloreIT.Com 2004, all the semiconductor companies of India will be coming together under a common representative forum – India Semiconductor Association (ISA). On November 2, ISA will be formally launched.
Among the foreign countries taking pat in the event, there are the US, the U.K, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Malaysia, Russia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Singapore China, Oman, Taiwan and the Czech Republic.
The major companies participating at this year’s event include Microsoft, Intel, AMD, Moser Bear, APC, Reliance, Satyam, Airtel, Hathway, Tata Tele Services, ICICI OneSource, Progeon, Peopleone Consulting, Convergys, 24/7 Customer Asset, Transworks, Iomega Pacific, Palas Software, Animaster, Accent Infoways etc to name a few.
