Actor Sudeep to anchor ‘Pyate Hudgeer, Halli Lifu’ on Suvarna
Suvarna TV is coming up with a new reality show that would be hosted by actor Sudeep. Reality shows are usually associated with elaborate sets and palatial bungalows. Suvarna’s new reality show, titled ‘Pyate Hudigeer, Halli Lifu’, is set in the natural and scenic surroundings of a village.

The show will have city girls trying to live the village life. Kiccha Sudeep, Sandalwood Superstar, who has recently created his mark in Bollywood, too, will make his foray into the Kannada small screen with this programme.
Ten city bred girls have been selected for this programme through a thorough audition process. These 10 girls will stay at Puradalu village in Shimoga district and face various tests and go through many tedious tasks. After 10 weeks, the one who successfully passes all these tests and comes out triumphant will win the special prize. During the 10 weeks of their stay in the village, these girls will have to give up all the city luxuries such as mobiles and the Internet, among others, and live the life of an ordinary village girl.
Kiccha Sudeep, the star attraction of this reality show, will play the role of main anchor, judge and guide. Along with him, noted actor and dancer Akul Balaji will also participate as an anchor.
Commenting on the show, Jagadish Kumar, President, (South) Star India, said, “Suvarna has been presenting quality programmes and has become synonymous with fresh concepts in the programmes. We have started several new programmes in the last two months. It is our hope that ‘Pyate Hudgeer, Halli Lifu’ will surpass the expectations of the viewers once again.”

‘Pyate Hudgeer, Halli Lifu’ will be telecast on Suvarna, Monday-Friday, 7-8 pm, starting May 10, 2010.
