Big CBS Love launches ‘The Game’

Big CBS Love has brought the comedy series ‘The Game’ for the first time to Indian television screens. ‘The Game’ premiered exclusively on Big CBS Love on March 4, 2013 on the weekday 8.30 PM slot.

‘The Game’ follows the lives of professional football players and their significant others. Showcasing the story of a young Melanie Barnett (Tia Mowry), who sacrifices her medical career to follow her boyfriend, professional football player Derwin Davis (Pooch Hall), ‘The Game’ highlights the glitz, glamour and gossip that form the backdrop of the American sports culture while showcasing the tagline: ‘It’s tough being a Footballer; It’s tougher being a WAG’.

Engaging over two million viewers in the US on a weekly basis, ‘The Game’ is a highly-rated comedy show which has won the NAACP Image Awards for the Best Comedy Series and stars NAACP Image Award nominee for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall in the lead. The show also regularly features some of the biggest celebrities in special appearances, including tennis player Serena Williams, basketball players Magic Johnson and Chris Webber, and American football player Shaun Phillips, among others.
