BIG Marathi Rising Star Awards salute the stars of tomorrow
Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd’s business verticals, BIG Live and 92.7 BIG FM, came together with Star Pravah to recognise upcoming talent in the Marathi industry, whilst giving the industry a unified platform to celebrate. It was supported by many popular, established and upcoming young and talented Marathi stars who took centre-stage at the extravagant evening. The show saw some of the shining stars from the industry, including Bela Shende, Kishori Shahane, Mahesh Kothare, Sunil Pal and many more.

The show saw some of the shining stars from the industry, including Bela Shende, Kishori Shahane, Mahesh Kothare, Sunil Pal and many more.
The awards saw winners from across different genres in movies, theatre, television, music and sports. The awards ceremony was held at the Bhavan’s Campus, Munshi Nagar, Andheri (W) in Mumbai.
Welcoming the stars on the red carpet were Abhijit Khandkekar and Neha Gadre, who got the artists to share their zeal towards the glamorous night and predict the winners across different categories.
The gala event began with a skit performed by Makarand Aanaspure, followed by a dance performance by ‘Dance India Dance’ contestants Prithvi and Vivek. Up next was the performance on the popular numbers by Kashmira Shah. Adding to the fun was child actor Saloni, popularly known was ‘Gangu bai’, as she interacted with the audiences.
The Big Marathi Rising Star Awards will be aired on Star Pravah.
