Call for participants for the Business Standard Quiz
The western region finals will be held on Dec 7, 2013 in Mumbai. The Quiz is open to B-school students and corporate professionals. Gaurav Sri Krishna is the Quiz Master
Business Standard and quizzing have had a long history. The Strategist Quiz is one of the longest running columns and is avidly tracked by quizzers from around the country.
To get a live experience, the quiz was taken to B-Schools around the country. Over 200 colleges have participated at an intra-college level. This culminates in a regional round, where winning students compete for the big prize. To add spice, the competition at the regional level will be open to corporate employees as well.
The first leg of the Business Standard Quiz will be the western region finals, to be held on December 7, 2013 at the International Convention Hall, BSE Institute in Mumbai. The other regional finals will be held in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, dates for which will be announced shortly.
The Quiz competition will see an elimination round, which will be a pen and paper test, followed by the semi-finals and finals. The top three winners in each region shall receive attractive prizes.
The Quiz Master for the Business Standard Quiz will be Gaurav Sri Krishna, who contributes to the Strategist Quiz and has also authored a Quiz book published by Business Standard. He is an acknowledged expert in quizzing circles and has been known to set some seriously high standards.
Registration in teams of two is mandatory to participate in the Business Standard Quiz.
