Dhoni, teammates launch personalised websites promoted by TechShot Digital

Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni and his teammates – Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag and Ishant Sharma – have launched their personalised websites to connect better with their huge fan following. The websites of all four cricketers went online from Monday, December 28, 2009.

TechShot Digital will exclusively promote the four cricketers in mobile, digital, new media and technology spheres and will handle the websites for Dhoni (www.dhoniworld.com), Bhajji (www.bhajjiworld.com), Sehwag (www.sehwagworld.com), and Ishant (www.ishantworld.com).

Speaking on the occasion, Jay Motwani, Managing Director, Techshot Digital Pvt Ltd, said, “Apart from being informative, these websites will redefine the player-fan relationship in India by providing an opportunity for the fans to connect and interact with their favorite cricketers. These websites will give a rare insight into cricketers’ world with exclusive interviews, videos, pictures from player’s personal library and records. Through this digital medium the young and budding cricketers’ queries related to the game will be answered by the stars themselves online, making it a coaching platform for potential talent. These websites will also play an important role in taking these stars’ charity work forward as some of their memorabilia and equipment will be auctioned through these websites to get funds for charity.
