ET launches online initiative for young corporate managers

The executives who register with the ET site will be chosen to have personal interviews with industry leaders such as Anand Mahindra, D Shivakumar, Harsh Mariwala, Kalpana Morparia, Nitin Paranjpe, Pramod Bhasin, Vineet Nayar and Adil Zainulbhai, and the fifty most promising will be offerend an all expenses paid short-term executive programmes at the Indian School of Business.
The Young Leaders programme has been created to fast-track promising careers in a country that is blessed with a favourable demographic dividend. In the process it will encourage a culture of excellence in leadership at all levels of India Inc. This initiative will provide a forum for young managers to test themselves against their peers and showcase their ability at a level that is unprecedented.
The Economic Times has partnered with SHL Plc, the global leaders in leadership competency assessments and the Indian School of Business, an international benchmark in management education. The executives will be put through a stringent evaluation process encompassing a series of offline and online assessment tests conducted by SHL. Participants will be tested on core leadership competencies and the top fifty will get to improve their skillset and will also have gained through exposure to the industry at large through the program.
