Gemini Edibles & Fats appoints Konnections as PR partner
Konnections bagged the account following a multi-agency pitch. It will handle brand positioning & external communication for GEF India
Gemini Edibles & Fats India (GEF India) has appointed Konnections as public relations consultant for its brand Freedom refined sunflower oil. The consultancy has been given the mandate to manage public relations, external communication activities and brand positioning for GEF India. Konnections bagged the account on the back of a multi-agency pitch.
Commenting on the development, Pradeep Chowdhry, Managing Director, GEF India, said, “We were looking for a communications consultancy that could support our public relations requirements. We were inspired by Konnections’ innovation and zeal of building brands across various categories. We evaluated various potential partners and decided to award the PR mandate to Konnections.”

GEF India deals in a wide range of oils and fats like sunflower oil, palmolein oil, vanaspati and a range of specialty fats to meet the demands of domestic, commercial and industrial consumers.
