Pearls Broadcasting Corporation Pvt Ltd, headed by Directors Jyoti Narain, ML Sehjpal and Kesar Singh, had forayed into the entertainment and media world in November 2008. The company is shortly launching a 24x7 Hindi news channel – P7 News.
Channel P7 News will be covering all areas ranging from fashion to philosophy, entertainment and music to science and technology, and aims to cover all aspects of human life.
The channel name P7 signifies performance, perfection, perseverance, passion and pursuance, besides the company’s name ‘Pearls’. ‘P’ also stands for the promises to the public that the channel would provide news and information that would be for the people, irrespective of colour, caste, creed and religion. ‘P’ also stands for presentation of thoughts, which would carry along all Indian masses with it.
The number ‘7’ signifies the seven days of the week.
