India Today’s Ashish Chadha moves to Yahoo! India
Ashish Chadha, who had quit India Today Group as Associate Publisher and Business Head of the Business Division, has joined Yahoo! India as Head Audience Marketing.
Ashish Chadha, who had quit India Today Group as Associate Publisher and Business Head of the Business Division, has joined Yahoo! India as Head Audience Marketing.
Chadha had a five-year long stint with the India Today Group, where he had started off in 2004 as Head Marketing for Reader’s Digest and went on to become its Associate Publisher in 2006, where he lead both advertising sales and marketing. In early 2008, he moved Delhi as Associate Publisher for the Business Division with added responsibility as Business Head of ITAS Media (India Today’s JV with Axel Springer, Germany).
Chadha is said to have played a crucial role in turning around the business model of Reader’s Digest India and was instrumental in repositioning the respected, but aging brand in India. He won the Emvies Media Marketer of the Year in 2006. He had completed his post graduation from Symbiosis, Pune and holds a PLD from Harvard Business School.
Chadha is a seasoned sales and marketing leader with extensive experience across media, retail, consumer electronics and travel industries and has worked on leading brands like Canon, Thomas Cook, Taj Group and Siyaram’s earlier in his career.
