Infomedia18, the publishing arm of Network18, has announced the launch of the Indian edition of ‘Entrepreneur’, a new business magazine for Indian SMEs. The magazine will be on the stands from the first week of September 2009. Priced at Rs 75, the magazine will be a monthly and will be distributed across the country through Infomedia18’s strong distribution network.

Infomedia18, the publishing arm of Network18, has announced the launch of the Indian edition of ‘Entrepreneur’, a new business magazine for Indian SMEs. The magazine will be on the stands from the first week of September 2009. Priced at Rs 75, the magazine will be a monthly and will be distributed across the country through Infomedia18’s strong distribution network.

The Indian edition of ‘Entrepreneur’ has been licensed by Infomedia18 from Entrepreneur Media Inc, the publishers of the US magazine and the largest selling business magazine on US newsstands.

Lakshmi Narasimhan, CEO - Magazine Publishing, Infomedia18, said, “In today’s market place, India’s small businesses with its 42 million (plus) business units offer the biggest opportunity across the globe. Infomedia18 sees this as the opportune time to launch a business magazine to become a part of this important ecosystem.”

‘Entrepreneur’s India edition is aimed at every Indian businessperson – those in existing ventures and those who need the nudge to become an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is a flourishing concept and yet entrepreneurs tread a lonely path. The magazine intends to fill the void in every Indian entrepreneur’s life.
