The League, this year, will be played over 17 weeks, up from 12 weeks in the last season, and also brings to the fray, two brand new teams – Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC– taking the on-field stakes up by several notches.
In addition to more people tuning in, the opening match recorded a 5X increase in total time spent (minutes watched) compared to the opening match of Season 3. Season 4 promises to be bigger than any season yet, with hotly contested matches, brand new teams eager to make a mark, which is excellent news for football fans in India.
