Kaushal Dalal joins Raj Nayak’s Aidem Ventures as Executive Vice President

Aidem Ventures Pvt Ltd, the newly launched independent media marketing and consulting company, has announced the appointment of Kaushal Dalal as Executive Vice President to head the company’s business development and strategy. As part of Aidem Ventures’ senior management team, Dalal will also hold additional responsibility to oversee the company’s finance, legal and investments.

Commenting on Dalal’s appointment, Raj Nayak, Managing Director, Aidem Ventures, said, “Kaushal brings with him an abundance of solid talent and experience. He has a strong record of success defining strategy and implementing vision in the broadcast industry. I have had the opportunity to work alongside Kaushal during my stint at STAR TV, and besides being a colleague, he has also been a good friend and it’s a privilege for me to have him join a start-up and be a part of our vision.”

Dalal had earlier worked with STAR TV for over nine years, where as Head of Business Development he was involved in all new business projects and transactions for India. Dalal was also responsible for several businesses, which he made profitable, including the International Channels Business and Allied Revenues, and he also started the mobile/ wireless business for Star in India and one of the first in the country. He also worked on the Corporate Strategy, headed Ad Sales Strategy and was also the project leader for developing a number of regional language channels for Star in India.

Dalal is a qualified Chartered Accountant and worked for over 10 years with Arthur Andersen, where he assisted clients evaluate, structure and set up businesses in India or overseas, consulted on direct taxes, M&A and financial models and managed a team of professional consultants.
