LINE and Groupon partner to bring real-time deals
With this association, LINE users can bag exclusive deals from Groupon, which include 'LINE only' deals, weekly deals and 'Manic Monday' deals, where users get a chance to take home freebies
LINE Corporation, owner and operator of the free call and messaging app LINE, and Groupon, a global pioneer in daily deals, have partnered to offer LINE users to bag exclusive deals from Groupon. These include ‘LINE only’ deals, weekly deals and ‘Manic Monday’ deals, where users get a chance to take home freebies.
"We have seen a fantastic uptake of LINE in the last few months and have recently hit a 16 million mark,” claimed Damandeep Singh Soni, Head of India Business Development, LINE. He added, “With strategic partnerships such as this one with Groupon, we are aiming to create an exciting market place for young consumers on the application. The idea is to build an unending ‘surprise’ element on the app.”
