London-based creative and strategy company DixonBaxi has bagged the Design Week Award for its work on Channel Five Refresh in the TV/ Film/ Video Graphics category.

DixonBaxi completed a comprehensive refresh for the Channel Five identity, including the on- and off-air look. Each component of the channel was redesigned to be more vocal, expressive and creative. The idents were developed as ‘brand bursts’, with each taking on a different facet of Five. Twenty ideas went into production, selected from various creative and production teams, including Partizan, Aardman Animations, Buck, Flynn and Rokkit.

DixonBaxi is currently exploring the Indian market to understand the emerging design and creative mood here. It may be recalled that in January 2009, Vyas Giannetti Creative had tied up with six global design specialists, including DixonBaxi, to launch a specialised Design and Communication Cell.
