National Geographic Channel (NGC) will partner with Star Jupiter, part of Star bouquet of channels. This association will provide a dedicated NGC band on two of Star Jupiter regional general entertainment channels – Suvarna and Sitara – thus, catering to Nat Geo’s viewers in both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, respectively.
Starting from May 3, NGC shows will be available on Suvarna on weekdays from 5 pm to 6 pm, and will be starting soon on Sitara as well. Both these channels will showcase dubbed NGC content for their viewers. These shows will range from the reality shows like ‘Jailed Abroad’ to Nat Geo specials like ‘Strange Days on Planet Earth’, the best of NGC specials, events and signature series.
Talking about this partnership, Rajesh Sheshadri, Senior Vice – President, Content & Communication, National Geographic Channel, said, “We at National Geographic Channel believe that this association with Star Jupiter will enable our viewers to get a flavour of the compelling stories in their regional language, aided by stunning visuals and credibility that people have come to expect from the National Geographic Channel. With our programming, we will help our viewers enjoy our rich content to the fullest and encourage them to be curious about the world that we live in.”
