On the sidelines of NDTV Gadget Guru Awards, Gadgets 360 launched Pricee.com, India’s first “search engine for shopping”. It aggregates over 60 million products across all categories (apparel, books, electronics, FMCG, appliances, sports equipment, etc.) from leading ecommerce stores in India. It is based on search algorithms built on top of Machine Learning to deliver fast and accurate results. Quality and ranking of search results are driven by Artificial Intelligence, which becomes better as the machine indexes more data. Built like a search engine and not a comparison site, the product is available on desktop, mobile and as Android and iPhone app on launch. The multi-language option enables the user to see search results in 10 Indian languages.
This year, the jury panel featured Prasanto K Roy, VP & Head of NASSCOM Internet, Mobile & E-commerce Council; Kishore Bhargava, Technology Consultant; Ashish K Bhatia, Independent Technology Writer and Nandagopal Rajan, Editor, Indian Express Online; and Chetan Bhagat, celebrated author, columnist and screenwriter; Gopal Sathe, Features Editor, Gadgets360; Anmol Taneja, Founder & CEO of Gadgets.in; Nishant Padhiar, Editor at Stuff and What Hi-Fi; Vikram Chandra, Consulting Editor, NDTV and Rajiv Makhni, Group Managing Editor, Technology, NDTV.
The awards will also be telecast on the NDTV Network and NDTV Good Times on July 22, 2017.
