News Nation has been awarded the record for ‘Most telegrams sent in a day (group)’ by Limca Book of Records.
News Nation marked the exit of telegrams in India by sending out 400 telegrams on July 13, 2013. The recipients included the President, the then Prime Minister of India and all Chief Ministers of states, well-known actors, sports person among others.
The telegram carried the message ‘Ab telegram nahi aayega, News Nation har khabar pahuchayega’.
The record will feature in the 2015 edition of the book which will come out in January 2015.
