Nine FM, one of the contemporary FM stations of North Bengal, played host to the fifth Subho Bibaho 2009 – the only mega wedding and lifestyle exhibition-cum-sale – held from August 28-30, 2009.

The three-day event reportedly saw a spectacular display of all wedding accessories, everything needed to make the best of the special day and the new life thereafter. The exhibition showcased some of the premier men’s and women’s designer fashion collection, jewellery, furnishing, cosmetics, bed linen and many more.
The participants included national and regional brands like Orra Diamond, Lakme, Samsung, Maitri, Mélange, Vaidik Boutique, Payel Boutique, Sreeji Collections, Rudra Jewels Pvt. Ltd, Manju Poddar, Vina Pearls, Roop Darshan, Rewaz Boutique, Beriwal Distributors, Jia Auto (Skoda Car), Payel Jaipur Supari.
Through its medium, Nine FM invited the denizens of Siliguri to come and enjoy the exhibition. One can look forward to a grand ambience, exciting and special offers.
Gopal Lama, Secretary, Tourism North Bengal, had inaugurated the event on August 28, while Gaurav Sharma, Additional SP, Siliguri and Sitaram Sinha, DSP, Siliguri were the chief guests.
Nine RJs organised various ground activities at the venue to maximise footfalls. The entire event is said to have been broadcast live on air from the venue. Nine FM had also come up with a tabloid, which promoted the event extensively.
The main objective behind this exhibition was to give an individual the chance to witness and appreciate the different cultural aspects associated with Indian wedding.
