Prabhat Khabar, dubbed the people’s newspaper, turns 25 on August 14, 2009. The mark the occasion, the paper has planned a slew of activities from August 14-16.
A host of cultural programmes will follow the opening ceremony on August 14 at 10 am in the presence of Jharkhand Governor K Shankar Narayanan, who will be Chief Guest on the occasion.
On August 14 itself there will be a debate in the morning on ‘Development of Jharkhand’. A ‘Kavi Sammelan’ has been organised in the evening on the same day.
Singing and dancing competitions, a Rock Band competition and drawing competition will mark the celebrations on August 15.
The celebrations will conclude with a fashion and beauty competition, followed by a significant agency-client meet on August 16.
