The ADEX 2008, conducted by Advertising Club of Hyderabad on November 7, saw RK Swamy BBDO Hyderabad reinforcing its position as the leading creative agency in the city with a haul of 17 awards, including seven Golds and 10 Silvers. ADEX is an annual event that celebrates creativity and honours agencies for creative excellence.
Among the other notable winning agencies were: JWT Mindset with eight Golds and eight Silvers, and OTS Advertising, which won seven Golds and four Silvers.
As in previous years, RK Swamy BBDO dominated the Awards night. “We are the leader in the Hyderabad market in terms of business and in creativity,” VS Rao, Partner, RK Swamy BBDO Hyderabad, asserted, adding, “We are elated with our performance and we look forward to doing outstanding work for our clients to build their business in the years ahead too.”
The agency won metals for its campaigns for Aparna Sarovar, Aparna Constructions, Dr. Reddy’s, Karvy, HIL, Kalanjali & Brisah. The ‘Photograph of the Year’, a coveted award, went for its campaign for Aparna Sarovar.
Add to that, Dr. Reddy’s won the maximum number of awards for an individual client across categories.
