Tamil sports flick Kanaa now on Zee5

ZEE5 added ‘Kanaa’ – a high-octane cricket drama, to its Tamil movie catalogue recently. The film, which received critical acclaim and appreciation when it released in theatres last year, premiered exclusively on Zee5, July 1.
Written and directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, produced by Sivakarthikeyan the film features Sathyaraj, Aishwarya Rajesh and Darshan.
‘Kanaa’ is an inspirational story of a village girl with a big dream and how fulfilling that dream becomes the purpose of her existence. It is a heart-warming story of how she makes it her dream to become a cricketer to make her father, who is an avid fan of the sport proud.
Kamaraj said, “Kanaa is a story of conquering dreams despite the various obstacles that come along the way. The film is about having faith in oneself and working hard towards the goal you set for yourself. It received a phenomenal response in the theatres and we are now looking forward to the audience watching it on ZEE5.”
