The need for well-trained business journalists has never been so high as today. After scripting its widely acclaimed success story, Times School of Journalism (TSJ) now presents an innovative Business Journalism course comparable to any across the globe. The course is a cocktail of business and financial concepts and finely-distilled media skills, with a broad vision of creating scribes for 21st century’s knowledge-based society.
Mentoring the students will be some of the best minds from India’s largest media house – The Times Group.
The course is of one-year duration, during which students will also undergo a four-month comprehensive hands-on internship in leading brands like The Times of India, The Economic Times, Indiatimes, economictimes.com, timesofindia.com, ET Now and Times Now.
Eligibility criteria for the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Journalism is graduate in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks and under 27 years of age. There will be an all-India written exam, followed by a personal interview. Last date for receiving completed application forms is June 10, 2010, while the entrance exam will be held on June 19, 2010. The course commences from mid-July 2010.
