Vidyut Patra appointed Red FM Mumbai Station Head

Red FM has announced the appointment of Vidyut Patra as its Mumbai Station Head. He will be responsible for strengthening the revenue stream and the brand for the Mumbai station. Patra will report to Nisha Narayanan, Senior Vice President, Projects and Programming, Red FM.

Commenting on his appointment, Narayanan said, “Vidyut has extensive experience across revenue, brand and content domains and will add immense value to the station and the brand. We are delighted to have Vidyut on board and look forward to his work at Red FM.”

On his role at Red FM, Patra said, “Given Red FM Mumbai’s history of exceptional talent and genre-defining content, I look forward to further strengthening the ‘Bajate Raho’ proposition of the brand and the exciting times that lie ahead.”

In addition to this, Patra comes from a strong broadcasting background. He has spent the last four years at Viacom18, handling various responsibilities for MTV. Prior to this, he has been with INX Media and STAR India.
