Vriti Infocom ropes in Anil Pande as CEO
Anil Pande says he looks forward to working with Vriti’s growing Enterprise and Retail customer base
Anil Pande has joined Vriti Infocom as Chief Executive Officer. He has over 33 years of experience in IT, Telecom and Convergence Experience.
Commenting on Pande’s appointment, Murli Ravi, Head - South Asia investments, JAFCO Asia, said, “Anil has been a frontrunner in the mobility space in India and in taking new concepts to the market. His experience will be of great value to Vriti as we prepare for our next stage of growth.” JAFCO Asia and Intel Capital are investors in Vriti.
As per industry estimates, the e-learning market in India stands at Rs 25 billion at present and is growing at 20 per cent annually, observed Anil Pande. “I am glad to be part of the exciting journey and look forward to working with Vriti’s growing Enterprise and Retail customer base,” he added.
Pande spent the early years of his career with leading IT players such as Wipro and Pertech Computers in roles spanning B2B solution sales and product management. He later worked in the telecom sector, holding senior leadership positions in value-added services (VAS) and convergence with the mobile telephony pioneers BPL and Reliance Communications.
