The Indian Premier League 2024 is set to start on March 22, according to media reports quoting league chairman Arun Dhumal. The tournament will take place entirely in India despite the upcoming general elections in April-May.

Dhumal reportedly said that the league is working closely with the government agencies and will first release the initial schedule.

The league has released the IPL tender document for associate and special partner slots. Nine companies such as CEAT, Aramco, RuPay, Dream11, Mastercard and Phone Pe are in the fray for the same.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly set a cumulative base price for six associate and three special partner slots for IPL. The price has been set at Rs 2,700 crore, according to media reports.
