IPL title sponsorship rights fixed at Rs 1,750 crore for 5 years: Report

BCCI has reportedly asked bidders to bid for 84 and 94 matches at Rs 375 crore and Rs 400 crore but the decision will be taken based on the aggregate value of 74 matches

BCCI has fixed Rs 350 crore per year as IPL title sponsorship rights for the 74 matches, as per media reports.

The IPL media rights value for five years has reportedly been pegged at Rs 1,750 crore. 

The cricket body has asked bidders to bid for 84 and 94 matches at Rs 375 crore and Rs 400 crore as the base price. A media report quoting a source said that the bid will be finalised basis of the aggregate value of 74 matches.

In December, BCCI invited bids for the title sponsor rights for the period 2024-2028.

It has also been reported that BCCI is unlikely to allow Chinese brands to bid for the IPL title sponsorship.
