This season, Disney plans to captivate the attention of kids with a new series, ‘Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive’. The series is currently being aired from Monday to Friday at 5 pm on the Jetix channel.
The series is about five teens and their quest for adventure, action and to decode mind crunching puzzles. It revolves around the pursuit to track down the seven magnificent jewels from seven galaxies, which adorn the ‘Crown of the Gods’, and is said to bestow ultimate power to the wearer of the crown that it is encrusted upon.
An official communiqué stated, “This time, the Rangers’ mission will see them exploring, operating and combating in many different countries around the world. The search of the jewels for the ‘Crown of the Gods’ will take them to Atlantis, islands in the Atlantic and Pacific, Saint Lucia, Istanbul, London, Portugal, Indonesia, Norway, Mexico, Egypt, Florida and Greece; while Rotuma Island, Australia, Brazil and Stonehenge will be witness to battles fought between the Rangers and the villains.”
